2013

Hyecorp were approached by Club Willoughby to assist them redevelop their site so they could have a sustainable future
2017

Together Hyecorp and Club Willoughby developed a vision for the Heart of Willoughby project then consulted with Club Willoughby members on their ideas for the new club, then consulted extensively with both Club Willoughby members and the Willoughby community on their ideas
2018

Heart of Willoughby was designed and additional community consultation was undertaken
2019

A Development Application capturing community feedback was submitted to Willoughby City Council
2020

Heart of Willoughby was assessed by the Willoughby City Council and the State Governments Sydney North Planning Panel
2021

Unanimous approval was received in February 2021. In June 2021 community consultation on the amenity and services for Hyegrove Willoughby commenced

Community Consultation

Since receiving development approval in late February 2021 for the transformation of Club Willoughby, Hyecorp have been working in collaboration with the Board of Club Willoughby to progress the detailed design of the overall Heart of Willoughby project as well as Hyegrove Willoughby, the luxury Retirement Living Community precinct within the Heart of Willoughby project.

Hyecorp held two “Have Your Say” sessions with Club Willoughby members and people who have previously registered their interest, to allow them to “Have their say” in relation to the services, amenity and product offered within Hyegrove Willoughby. These presentations by Hyecorp allowed the attendees to hear first-hand about the nearly 10 year journey to date.
